I am an animal lover from way back. In my lifetime I have owned many different types of house pets as well as farm animals. My favorites are probably horses and cats. I can’t remember a time ever that there were not critters of some sort in my world. For 18 years I trained, exhibited, trailered and bred show horses then in 1994 I started driving 18 wheelers over-the-road and my dog went with me, of course! When he got old and passed, my new cat joined me and we were later joined by a kitten. Now that I stay home (mostly) I am back to riding my horses as well as hiking with my current dog and really spoiling my two lazy cats. Writing has always been a hobby of mine and I found that after all those years of living on the road with my pets that I have a wealth of information to share with other travelers and their furry companions.
